Hello! I’m married to my high school sweetheart and we have 4 adult children and one grandson! We also have two Pomeranians and one Chihuahua who rule the house! I’ve been working in the helping field since the age of 14 and have worked for Alberta Health Services since 1993. I have specialized in the areas of trauma, mental health and addiction since 2004.

Credentials:

* Bachelor of Social Work obtained in 1992
* Master of Counselling Psychology obtained in 2012
* I am a member of the Clinical Social Work Registry with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) and also am a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

Experience:

I have worked with Alberta Health Services since 1993, working as a medical social worker in acute care, home care and long term care.
I gained experience in working with Mental Health and Addiction, starting in 2004, when I worked at the Claresholm Centre for Mental Health and Addiction. I also have experience in providing group therapy.
I worked with the Domestic Violence program, and currently also work in the Chronic Illnesses program.
I volunteered with the Lethbridge Police service as a Victim/Witness advocate.
I have worked in private practice with ACS since 2016.
