Hello! I value human connection and the power of interpersonal relationships and I welcome the opportunity to meet you.
As a counsellor, I take on three roles: supporting, guiding, and challenging. Therapy can be emotionally difficult and I will work hard at developing a trusting professional relationship with you and helping you feel heard, understood, and respected. Therapy can also be transformative and insightful and I help guide this process by encouraging you to go deeper than the surface-level to gain new understandings and perspective on your struggles. Thirdly, I take on the challenging role by providing direct feedback on behaviours that may be helping or getting in the way of your goals. I will work hard at getting to know you and working collaboratively with you to help you become the best version of yourself.
